Brandon was fantastic every step of the way. As a first time home buyer, I didn't know quite what to expect from the whole process. Brandon made sure I was completely understanding every part of the process, and helped me consider every factor of each house we looked at. He was honest and clear when we asked his opinion or evaluation of a house, and did the same as we went through the offering and negotiating process. Brandon is THE person you want on your side when you’re transacting a home purchase or sale. This is a guy who will work for you day in and day out to maximize your utility, whether on the buy side or the sale side. I went on at least a dozen tours with him, and he was always attentive and energetic. His expertise on the residential real estate process, the Baltimore/Maryland market, and relevant house building information is SECOND TO NONE. When touring one property, he noticed a very particular issue with a house that was hardly noticeable, but turned out it wouldve been a huge expense. I would’ve never had the forethought and neither would most real estate agents out there. When we found the right house for me, he worked diligently and carefully to get it at the best price possible on the market. He and his team are the best of the best and a pleasure to work with.

Brandon is very knowledgeable of the downtown area (Federal Hill, Otterbein, Fells Point, and beyond), and extremely patient (our house hunting process lasted well over a year and never felt being pushed to make a decision). He understood and tried his best to help us find our imaginary “ideal house”. He is energetic and always available to answer questions and show us many properties. Through the process, we gained a good amount of knowledge of the close yet different pockets of streets and neighborhoods and a sense of what we could expect for the budget we planned to spend. It has been a really enjoyable journey and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Ode to My Realtor Brandon Golueke,

I MUST pass on the extraordinarily positive experience I have had selling my condo in Clipper Mill! It was sudden—I’d not planned on moving, but my husband passed away from a major stroke and my family encouraged me to come live near them in Virginia. A friend did some extensive research and gave me the name of Cindy Conklin and Brandon Golueke, associated with Berkshire Hathaway, Brandon assumed my account and from the first call to the last text was the most responsive business person I’ve dealt with in my many decades of needing one service or another—underscore that when referring to realtors.

When Brandon showed up—immediately—he appeared as too young to have the experience I needed. I was wrong! Within 15 minutes we had established a price range. I told him I did not care how much the “comps” showed for setting the price…I was adamant that my condo was special, the best in the Millrace building for a variety of reasons—the total connectivity with the Millstream, the Druid Hill Park portion of the hill I faced, and significantly, the $140,000 modern add-ons I easily documented for portential buyers. He told me the format that would be most helpful and it produced. He also gave me deadlines that were meaningful to keep and told me not to be there when that was appropriate. He was coordinator extr4aordinaire.

Within FIVE DAYS my condo was under contract for $6,000 MORE than my asking price which already was the highest ever in the building. My condo set the standard for price per square foot and then some! If these buyers had not signed there were others in the wings, waiting…From the first day, Brandon advised me on both details and larger items I should take care of as quickly as possible. These included touch up painting, a missing solid lock for the balcony, and replacing a few windows. Each time he quickly provided one or more responsible references and each was outstanding. The carpet cleaner was the best I’ve had in six decades! The painter had to chop a chip of paint to find the perfect match!

Another factor in this entire sale process was that I was having my daughter, in Charlottesville, Virginia, do all of the documentation, checking and even setting up the docusign for me. He worked seamlessly with the three of us. My daughter is not easy to please when it comes to details like real estate—her best friend is a real estate lawyer and she gets lots of advice. She and Brandon did this flawlessly. I am so grateful.

Brandon was not only the most quickly and thoroughly responsible person I’ve had in seven realty transactions over time, but at the time he was a new father! I did not know that initially—he was determined to give me outstanding service and WOW…did he ever!! I am MORE than satisfied. I don’t do social media, but I hope wherever this lands that it gives him the FIVE STARS HE DESERVES!!

I wish him and his family all the very best—he IS the BEST!!!

When I started to look for a realtor to help me find a home in the Baltimore area I wanted someone who knew the area and who had good recommendations. I found Brandon and gave him a call.
