Brendan Murphy

I bring more than two decades of experience in real estate, finance, and public service to every client and leadership role I serve. My career began in 2003 in Northern Virginia on the lending side of real estate, where I gained a deep understanding of financing, risk, and the mechanics behind successful transactions. That foundation eventually led me into investing, marketing, and full-time residential sales where I’ve continued to grow and refine since joining Samson Properties in 2018. Today, my work is driven by a simple belief: people deserve to feel informed, protected, and confident when making one of the largest decisions of their lives. My background as a retired law enforcement officer with over 20 years of service strongly influences how I operate, bringing a heightened attention to safety, situational awareness, and advocacy into every real estate experience.

That same service-first mindset carries into my leadership within the industry. I am honored to serve as President of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORS®, where I focus on strengthening professionalism, supporting agents, and elevating safety awareness across our marketplace. My goal is to help agents better serve their clients while also protecting themselves in an ever-changing environment. I live, work, worship, and raise my family in the Shenandoah Valley, and I take great pride in serving the community I call home. Whether guiding a client through a transaction or helping shape the future of our local real estate industry, my mission remains the same: serve with integrity, lead with purpose, and help people move forward safely and confidently.
