Brett was born in LCF and has lived there all his life. He is a graduate of St Francis High School and Loyola Marymount University, where he received his BA in Business Communications.
As he was growing up, his parents instilled in him the value of real estate as they built and remodeled several homes and invested in residential income property. He saw them work hard to achieve their goals. After graduation from Loyola Marymount and working briefly in property management, he discovered that his true passion was to help others achieve their real estate goals.
One of the skills that he brings to his transactions is that he is able to be calm and reflective with clients and agents alike. He believes in the importance of teamwork throughout the escrow process where a win-win attitude is important for everyone involved. He is known by his colleagues as having an encyclopedic memory of home sales and property history. Having this vast pool of knowledge has helped him in having clients understand the value of their home that they are selling or the home they wish to purchase.
He has partnered for the past 15 years with his colleague, Esther Tan, who shares his same core values. Together, they have helped clients navigate the waters of the ever-changing real estate market. They strive to exceed their clients’ expectations and take pride in having the majority of their business come from past client referrals.
Besides his hobby of accumulating trivia information in real estate, he finds time for being a car enthusiast which includes collecting and restoring classic cars with his dad and keeping up with his favorite baseball and hockey teams.
