About Brian

Brian O’Neill is the broker/owner of Heritage & Main Real Estate. He is a US Army Veteran, Westfield State College graduate, and accomplished upper-level business manager — but he is now following his passion for real estate, as a Realtor and Broker.
Brian’s approach to helping buyers is almost strictly consultative. He will show you as many houses as you need to see so you find the right one. This purchase is a huge decision, and you will benefit from someone that can educate you on the process, play devil’s advocate, and provide insights on the big picture (what you can change vs what you cannot in a home/land, what might future resale look like, and more). Bottom line: He is not a salesperson any longer.
Similarly, the approach to assisting a seller is one of having you aware, educated on the market, and prepared to show the home. First impression, space, and smart pricing get attention and showings. Details, details, details…bring in offers.

More about Brian personally: he has lived in many, many places. Sometimes as long as a decade, other times just a year or two. He has seen most of the beautiful country and lived on the east coast, west coast, and even Hawaii. Real Estate was always an interest to him as he landed in these places and he is happy to have made it his profession now.

Several corporate relocation’s (and about 13,000 miles of moving) had strengthened his desire now to settle down into a permanent “home” rather than just a place to live. Brian, like you maybe, had his eyes open watching the market for that perfect place. he was so fortunate to have found that in spring of 2017. The first thing he looks for when he walks through a house are the future memories and what they may look like…especially Christmas morning! He has the most incredible wife, and three amazing children. He understands how badly you want to find that perfect place.

Having owned property and been relocated for work several times, Brian also knows how badly we sometimes want to sell our property and for the most money possible. He is very comfortable helping you list your home and have all the confidence that, if we partner together, we can capitalize on the market.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice – so those law/contract classes are paying off. He also spent ten years as a reservist in the United States Army. His business life allowed him to enjoy great success in sales and management – most recently with a $40M P&L. All of this has helped him to become more than capable of helping you navigate the process, secure the deal, and close the sale. Brian is looking forward to meeting with you and helping you along YOUR way.
