I'm a lifelong resident of this beautiful state, born in Waterville, raised in Belgrade and then Augusta, and currently residing in West Gardiner. After venturing to Massachusetts for a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College, I returned to the place that has my heart—Maine.
My professional accomplishments extend far beyond the number of closed transactions. I've served as a two-time President of the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors, held directorial roles on both the Maine Association of Realtors and Maine Listings boards and amassed an array of awards, including Realtor of the Year. These accolades affirm my commitment to delivering impeccable service.
Real estate is in my DNA; my father founded Rizzo Mattson Realtors, and the baton has since passed to me. My aunt is a Realtor, and my uncle an appraiser. I take pride in maintaining the family legacy of excellence, fortified by a marketing degree and a background in sales.
But there's more to me than contracts and negotiations. Life's finest moments often happen away from the office. I relish quality time with my wife, Carol, a dedicated high school math teacher, and our sons, Cody and Cam. Once active in various sports, they're now budding entrepreneurs running Camco Lawn Care. You could say entrepreneurship runs in the family!
Outdoors is where you'll often find us, whether it's boating on Cobbossee, hitting the golf course, or hiking with our golden retrievers, Gus and Tommy. I'm also a fan of action and science fiction movies, a gym enthusiast, and a lover of a good brewpub.
