About Brian

Brian has lived in Sarasota, FL since 1998, having moved here with his family from Greensboro, NC. He attended high school locally at Riverview, and received a scholarship to play golf at the University of Tampa. He became a 4 year Letterman and earned himself the “player of the year” award for the conference his senior year. During the summers of his college years, Brian worked on Martha’s Vineyard, at Farm Neck Golf Club. After graduating with a degree in Business Management, he decided to set his degree aside and put his golf talents to the test. He turned professional in 2006, and competed on numerous tours across the country for 7 years.

Golf will always be in his heart, but real estate runs through his blood. His father and Broker/Owner of Waterside Realty LLC, has been selling and investing in Real Estate on Siesta Key and in the Sarasota area since 1998. His mother is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida and his sister, former “ABC’s the Bachelor” fan favorite, Renee Oteri Maynard, holds real estate licenses in the state of Florida, Massachusetts and Washington.

Brian is a licensed Real estate Broker Associate and understands that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: it’s a life-changing experience.
