As a native of Kansas City, Brownyn is well connected to local business and real estate communities. Having grown up in Mission Hills and the Ward Parkway Corridor, and having raised her own family in Leawood, her knowledge of the metropolitan area is an indispensable advantage for her clients.
Brownyn graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland with a BA in International Studies and Economics, with a minor in French. She was a member of the Varsity Crew Team all 4 years at WC. Her first 5 years post grad were spent as a litigation paralegal, and then as the Recruiting Coordinator for a large local law firm.
Her proven skills in teamwork, contract negotiation, and client interaction, combined with her deep roots in the local community, were the ideal foundation from which to build her real estate career beginning in 1996. For 25+ years, Brownyn’s mission has been to provide service which exceeds her clients expectations, including market & area information, Home buying and selling from start to finish, and all of the nuances in between! Her goal is remove the stress from real estate transactions so her clients can focus on the joy a new home brings!
She believes strongly in giving back to the community, and is an active volunteer and supporter of the many organizations that make Kansas City such a special place!
