My wife and I was referred to Bruce through a family friend. Bruce went to multiple sites to video chat, as we were living overseas at the time, to show us properties that we were interested in. He kept us updated on homes that came onto the market that he felt fit our criteria. He was easy to talk to and communicated often during our entire time together, from searching to making an offer to closing on our house. I would recommend him to anybody I know. Bruce Recently helped My Husband I and find our dream home. He worked with us while we were still living over seas. He was very proactive with making appointments to do video calls so we could view homes before we moved Back to the US. Bruce assisted me 5 years ago when my elderly father moved to the Goldsboro area to be closer to family. He showed us multiple homes in different areas until my father found the perfect home. He had so much patience and was so professional with my father. When it came time for me to sell my father’s house a few months ago, he was compassionate and attentive. He assisted me in every way possible to settle my father’s estate. I can’t thank him and his office enough for all of their help! Highly recommend!

Bruce and his team have helped me for the last 5 years with buying my house, managing the property for me when I was stationed in Missouri, and getting the house listed and sold in a really short time period. Bruce is an outstanding realtor. My husband and I had to do the vast majority of our home searching out-of-state, as we are both active duty military and were stationed elsewhere. Bruce helped us with virtual tours and really went above and beyond to make sure that we were moving into a great house for us and our needs, in our budget, and with everything we wanted in mind. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a house in the Goldsboro/Pikeville/etc. area. He even helped me move my motorcycle out of my moving truck - so if you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond, look no further!

Bruce is absolutely wonderful. He knows the Wayne County area very well and has so much valuable insight. He spent an entire Saturday with us showing us ten homes - Some that we had a specific interest in and some that he thought we may like based on our preferences. In the end, we found our dream home - All thanks to him! He was also an incredible ambassador to us throughout the entire closing process, as we were out of state for all of the inspections and legwork leading up to closing.
He is great at negotiating, quick to respond to questions and concerns, an expert on the market, and was a lot of fun to hang out with as we explored the area. We highly recommend Bruce to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and honest real estate agent in the Wayne County area!

Bruce is a great person/realtor. He was able to assist me in selling my home from half way across the United States. If he needed me to sign anything he would call or text me so I would sign right away. My house was on the market for 3 days before we started a contract to sell. I had a family-trusted realtor from out-of-state seek out a local realtor which turned out to be Bruce. My only request was that he/she be effective and assertive so as to not get runover by other aggressive realtors while obtaining the best deal possible for me. I like the fact that Bruce never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable in making these big decisions and he always made the time to thoroughly explain a process or challenge. Traditionally, I'm not a fan of realtors but Bruce made a good case for their existence with his work ethic and problem solving abilities. I'm fortunate to have had him represent me and would definitely recommend Bruce to anyone seeking a realtor.

I couldn't be more pleased with the job Bruce Gates did for me. Bruce met with me and guided me through the steps I needed to take to prepare my house for market. We met several times at the property. He let me know where I needed to focus my time, and energy to get ready. He also had contacts I used to help with updates or repairs.
He always took the time to answer my questions in a timely manner. Communication was always great.
Everything was was a suggestion, but he was correct on all points. I'm just glad I listened.

He helped my family sell my father's house after his untimely passing. Bruce personally handled scheduling repairs with professionals to get the house ready to be sold while no heirs lived in the state of North Carolina.
