About Bryan

Along with his longtime friend and business partner, Karen Vega, Bryan is one of the co-founders of RealSmart Group. Over the course of his 30+ year career in real estate sales, finance, and investment, Bryan has amassed an incredible wealth of knowledge on every facet of the industry. His close relationships with local new home builders and contractors, coupled with his own experience as a real estate investor, have made him the top resource for anyone looking to buy or sell new construction homes in the mid-peninsula.

He started his real estate career in 1989 as a loan research analyst at a large brokerage firm in San Mateo. Three years later, at the age of 21, Bryan obtained his real estate license, and purchased his first home within his first year in real estate. He quickly added 3 rental properties to his portfolio, sparking a strong passion for real estate investment that endures today. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Small Business Management from San Francisco State University and for 7 years wrote the real estate column for the San Francisco Examiner newspaper. When he is not dealing in real estate, Bryan enjoys being outdoors on his bike, hiking peninsula trails or road-tripping in his van. He loves traveling and visiting family and friends abroad, but most of all he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
