Bryant Smith began his career with McCreary, Veselka, Bragg, & Allen 27 years ago shortly after receiving his BBA in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Texas. His drive for knowledge and growth helped him to work his way through the ranks and learn to manage nearly each and every role within the firm from the mail room to a legal assistant. Just nine short years after starting with the firm, after serving in management roles, he became the Director of Operations.
Smith has held this position in addition to serving as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and member of the Executive Management Team. In his current role, he is primarily responsible for setting annual strategy and initiatives, driving execution of business strategy, and creating best practices for MVBA’s operations services provided to the internal staff and clients. In addition, he oversees the production team, accounting department, human resources, public relations, and vendor relationships. His tenacious commitment to the internal and external stakeholders within the firm from administrators to clients coupled with the drive to continue to lead the company into innovative new strategies has helped him to lead his teams to exceptional success.
He is well versed in the intricacies of government and maintains credentials as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), John Maxwell Trainer, and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Bryant exhibits an exceptional passion for community service and leadership within the community. He has served as Commissioner of the Round Rock Planning and Zoning Commission, McBee Fellow with the Austin Area Research Organization (AARO) and Chairman of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Lone Star Regional Water Authority.
