Buddy Young

I am a native of North Carolina, originally from the Raleigh area. Being raised in an entrepreneurial family led us to the mountains of Brevard, North Carolina where we operated a restaurant, bed & breakfast, vacation rentals, and a real estate brokerage. I originally obtained my real estate license to work in the family business but returned to Raleigh to attend college and joined the Raleigh Police Department where I retired at the rank of Captain after a 27-year career.

I am a service-oriented problem solver that enjoys a challenge and the opportunity to assist someone toward a positive outcome. I hold those who have served their country and community through the military or public safety in the highest regard.

I enjoy cycling and hiking on the greenways and nature preserves throughout the Wake County and Johnston County area. I have lived and worked in the Triangle area and surrounding counties for over 30 years and enjoy the lifestyle and amenities this area offers. I also enjoy the beaches of North Carolina.

For over 20 years, I have maintained a role in real estate as either a licensed agent or being involved in real estate investments. I am excited to be working with LPT Realty and look forward to serving you for all your real estate needs.
