Buffy Allen

Buffy Bromberg Allen, a lifelong native and resident of Mountain Brook, is fully invested in the Birmingham community and loves helping clients understand the diversity of its neighborhoods and villages. Buffy is a seasoned veteran in the industry and loves helping folks in every diverse situation imaginable- young families, empty nesters, or single folks with downtown condos.

Buffy has listed and sold homes and residential lot developments all over metro Birmingham. Her experience has extended to Mountain Brook, Homewood, Hoover, Vestavia, including the Birmingham favorites of Redmont, Crestline Park and Crestwood. Buffy is always ready to dig in and help her clients find the perfect home in the perfect area or help a Seller market a listing aggressively in order to bring them a Sold sign in their yard!

Buffy never forgets that whether you’re buying or selling, it’s “All in the Details.” She loves a challenge and is able to analyze the pros and cons of any sale or purchase. Buffy also feels it is vitally important that her clients see the big picture as they establish their goals, while ensuring they focus on the details which matter most. This perspective allows her to expertly advise sellers on pricing and buyers on selection. Clients are always surprised at her hands-on approach to home listings, including special meetings with clients to develop plans on organizing, sprucing up, and staging.

Her previous professional experience includes working in one of Alabama’s oldest family businesses under the tutelage of her father, where sales became second nature and where she became woven into the fabric of Birmingham. This experience led to her love and understanding of the myriad communities and homes in the metro area.

A University of Alabama and Kappa Delta alumnus with a B.A. in Mass Communications, Buffy began her career working for the Chairman of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Housing and Urban Development and worked on landmark housing legislation. Buffy then honed her sales skills in her 9-year career as a Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative with companies such as Johnson & Johnson.

Buffy has 2 sons, 2 daughters, and 4 rescue dogs! Buffy has served in leadership positions with The Ballet Guild of Birmingham, Junior Women’s Committee of 100, and the Children’s Art Guild, as well as being active in the Junior League of Birmingham for 7 years. Buffy is also an active member of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Buffy holds an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). She is a member of the Alabama Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
