About Burt
Burt Minkoff's sales talent, acquired over a 20-year career in New York as a strategic marketer, fueled his immediate rise to success in Real Estate upon entering the Palm Beach market in 2002. Burt has since become known as the go-to resource for marketing and selling some of the most exclusive and unique properties in the area, which included his selection by the US Marshall Service as the co-listing broker for the Bernie Madoff residence.
A seasoned investor who has owned homes in Manhattan, East Hampton and West Palm Beach, Burt is also expert on timing the market and identifying opportunity. He came to Palm Beach with a vision that the baby boom generation would transform the market as it did New York City and Hamptons, and his foresight was exactly right. Burt enjoys a stellar reputation. His unmatched skill and creativity with both sellers and buyers continues to achieve great results. While Burt believes an informed buyer is ultimately a more satisfied buyer, sellers have to look outside of the box for new and creative ways to expedite their sale and optimize the return on investment of their homes.
A graduate of Emory University with a BBA degree, Burt began his marketing career in advertising in Atlanta. In 1984, he co-founded Mediaworks, Inc, a full-service marketing firm in New York City where he remained the CEO for 17 years. During that time, Burt conceived, directed and produced marketing communications for companies including Tiffany, Steuben, Polo, Drexel Burnham, Triarc, NeXT, The Guggenheim Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, Glaxo, Roche and Amgen.
With a keen eye for all things visual, Burt's appreciation of architecture and design has extended into gut-renovating, redesigning, and even developing properties for himself and his clients. Homes he has previously owned, designed and renovated have been published in House & Garden, Elle Decor, and Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens. Burt is also an avid collector of contemporary art, vintage furniture and design.
