Desiree Merriweather’s over 20 years of real estate experience has not only given her the ability to provide for her own family, but also take care of generations of families. One of the highlights of Desiree’s career is when she is called on to assist the children and even grandchildren of her real estate clients. Her ability to build long-lasting, trusting, professional relationships with her clients has led to 95% of her clients being return clients and referrals. Desiree is currently a Broker and the Lead Education and Development Coordinator for JPAR Magnolia® Group. She was recently recognized as the 2022 Realtor® of the Year by the Central Carolina Realtor® Association. This award is notably one of the most prestigious awards for Realtors® in South Carolina and serves as a testament to her accomplishments and the esteemed reputation she holds within the real estate community.
Desiree is a life-long learner and has continued her professional development by completing the South Carolina Association of Realtors® (SCR) Leadership Program and obtaining several certifications from the National Association of Realtors®, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), and the Realtors® Commitment to Excellence Endorsement (C2EX). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina and continues to add specialized certifications to her qualifications portfolio. In her free time, you can find Desiree being a mom to her two sons, Justin and Jackson, and spending time with her family and friends.
