My name is Tani Hindes and I have lived in Las Cruces for over 39 years. I got my real estate license in 2018. I am excited to be involved in the growing real estate market in Dona Ana County. My background is in education. I spent 28 years teaching elementary school in all grades, K through 5, but most of my time was spent in kindergarten. My teaching philosophy was "Be the guide by their side". After retiring in 2017, I needed a new place to be a "guide" and I chose real estate. I am eager to use all the educational opportunities that are available for new brokers from Exit Realty Horizons and the Realtors' Association locally, nationally, and in New Mexico to make my customers' experiences successful.
My husband and I have bought and sold properties in southern New Mexico for over 30 years. With all those personal experiences as a starting point, a new career in real estate made sense. I look forward to using the lessons I've learned to benefit my customers. I am excited to walk side by side with my customers as they buy or sell their homes, land, or commercial property.
Just a few fun facts about me: I am a Disney fanatic. I enjoy reading, painting, and watching movies. My newest hobby is quilting. I am a member of the Las Colcheras Quilt Guild and was the programs director in 2019. I would love to share pictures of my projects with you when we meet!
