About Caleb

In 2002, I started pursuing my dream of a career in real estate. As a teenager, I bought my first house with the intention of fixing and flipping it. Following that successful venture, I purchased another house and lived there, while renting to roommates. After marrying the woman of my dreams, we moved but continued to rent out our house. Through all the experience I have had in real estate, I learned a lot, (much being what not to do) and now I offer my services to you. Although I am a licensed real estate agent, I won't ever stop my pursuit of learning more.
Whether buying or selling a home or when you just have questions, I would be happy to help you along the way. When it comes to this life changing transaction, in your life or a friend's, you now have someone you know and can trust to guide you through it. When you refer someone to me, you can be assured that I will take care of them as if they are my own family.
In all of my previous jobs, I have noticed similar trends that bode well in helping people during my real estate career. They have all helped me develop the following skills:

I could not ask for a better real estate expert than Caleb. Not only was he always accessible to answer all my questions (and there were many!) but he was also very knowledgeable and able to resolve situations quickly. Caleb also never had an agenda and simply wanted my wife and I to be happy with our purchase - he was a sincere advocate for our needs and wants. I would highly recommend Caleb to anyone who wants a great home buying experience.

I chose to work with Caleb because I knew from past experience that he had remodeled and sold several houses, so I trusted that he knew a lot about the quality of houses and that he could detect a good house from a bad house. I was proved right when Caleb found a home for my husband and I. Caleb didn't always give his opinion while we looked at houses, however, he was always willing to share his thoughts whenever my husband or I asked questions about a house. His knowledge regarding the structure and quality of houses was outstanding and so helpful. He would be able to point out the good and the bad of each house that we looked at, yet never pressured us into anything. His goal was not to just sell us a house to get a commission on it. His main goal was to find us a house that we could make into a home, a house that fit with our finances, and a house that we loved. He was very patient even when we had to often change our wants and needs due to the market and when we had to take another look at our finances a few times. I would recommend Caleb to anyone for his knowledge, his integrity, his honesty, his flexibility, and because he makes looking for a house enjoyable rather than stressful.

I was about to commit to spending 100s of thousands of $ over the next few decades, so I didn't want the agent that's a friend of a friend. Nor one that touts how much they love working with people. I wanted one that understands how negotiations work, the ways sellers sneak the price up, and who would help lower stress and save $. Caleb met all my criteria. Since agents work most with other agents, I didn't want one that loves working with people because he/she might worry more about their relations with the other agent than about my interests. And while an agent is supposed to look out for my best interest, it is also more $ beneficial to him/her if I buy fast (our prior agent seemed this way). Caleb showed no urgency for us to buy, pointed out items that saved us money, and was most helpful during the closing process. I think the good agents stand out during negotiation and closing, while the friend of a friend just knows what colors or home layouts are in style. While Caleb knows the latter, he was most helpful at close. He actually bought us another week to close, yet had the seller viewing it as buying more time to pack. He especially relieved our stress by helping us ensure the lender stayed honest, and carried through with its promises. I can't stress how difficult to understand the mortgage process is, and having someone like Caleb can relieve that worry. Don't just pick an agent to print out MLS ads and unlock doors for you. Choose one that saves you stress and $ when it matters most.
