Candy has had numerous successful careers in a variety of disciplines.
Adams was self-employed and owned and operated a successful financial advisory practice with several employees for many years. She held Series 7, Series 66, and life and health insurance licenses. Candy’s Client Satisfaction Score was once a perfect 100% and well above the company and industry average throughout her career.
Candy holds an Associate of Arts degree in Office Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. She has four Masters' level degrees and certifications, including Elementary Guidance and Counseling for grades K-8, Secondary Guidance, and Counseling for grades 5-12, Curriculum Specialist K-12 and Administration certification to serve as a school principal. She is a retired educator.
While employed by Magnolia Public Schools, Candy began as a classroom teacher and aggressively progressed to the administrative level. She was an elementary classroom teacher and an elementary school guidance counselor. She then became a high school guidance counselor prior to spending the final seven years in education in the superintendent’s office as the district testing coordinator and public relations coordinator. As testing coordinator, she analyzed and disaggregated testing data for 2,500 students and assisted over 200 teachers in using the data to improve their instruction. As public relations coordinator, Candy disseminated the news of the school district to educators, parents, and the community. Both of these jobs were new to the district, and she was promoted and challenged to create the roles and fulfill the responsibilities.
In her twenties, Candy served as the Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference and Southern Arkansas University’s first and only female Sports Information Director. During this career, she was editor and publisher of a 120-page All-Sports Magazine, for which she was awarded first place in the NAIA National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for an outstanding publication. Candy obtained her Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, additional certifications and securities, and insurance licenses while working full-time.
Candy has always been active in her community, serving on the Magnolia-Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Magnolia Country Club Board of Directors.

Candy and her husband, Rusty, met in eighth-grade math class at Magnolia Junior High School. They have one son, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. Candy is highly organized and enjoys people. She will work diligently for you to help you locate your dream home and/or sell your current home.
