About Caren

Caren (DeVoe) Clevenger has been in the real estate business since 2002. Previously, Caren was a registered nurse for Hospice, Homecare with Skiff Medical Center, and in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps for 14 years in Mental Health and Trauma Nursing. Caren is also a past corporate sponsor chairperson for Relay for Life, Past President of the Newton Board of Realtors, board member of the Salvation Army, and a member of the Newton and Colfax Chamber of Commerce. Caren is a several times graduate of the Floyd Wickman course and has completed in-depth professional real estate courses in continuing education with up-to-date marketing and tax aspects of real estate.

Her husband, Phil Clevenger, is a semi-retired doctor and currently serves this area as Medical Examiner.

They enjoy spending time with their six children and soon to be nineteen grandchildren! Care and Phil love traveling and seeing novel places, and always enjoy coming back home. Caren looks look forward to continuing to help others realize the meaning of home ownership!
