Cari was incredible. She always had time for us and was super prepared. We had long talks at a cafe, we saw so many houses, and basically always on our schedule. She popped up whenever there was a listing she was excited about for us. And she was kind and fun and understanding and a great teacher.

The moment I felt COMPLETELY safe in Cari's care was when she said, confidently but almost as an aside, "I like to win". Ever since then I've been making little jokes about, "well, we knew it would all work out - Cari likes to win!". And she clearly meant "win" in a holistic way - not just getting us a house, but us getting a house that we LOVE without going over budget.

We were thrilled with our experience working with Cari, and highly recommend her to first-time home buyers. Cari helped us to visit nearly two dozen homes spanning a large price range in multiple neighborhoods, and taught us so much about value at different price points and the costs of various repairs and upgrades to the properties we visited.

When we went under contract on a home and the inspection turned up foundation issues, Cari (along with colleagues at her brokerage and the lender she recommended) helped us extend contracts and schedule structural engineers, and ultimately helped us walk away from what looked like very expensive and time-consuming repairs. When we went under contract a second time, Cari helped us navigate a last-minute seller default and saved a deal we were sure would fall through. At every step of the way, Cari was working tirelessly behind the scenes and was available to visit homes and answer our first-time-buyer questions at odd hours. Cari Jordan’s amazing skills and excellent read of the market enabled us to get our home ready for listing in 3 weeks after our initial conversation and it was pending sale within 48 hours of listing! We decided to do some minor preparation based on her recommendations - painting, lawn maintenance- before listing. Cari facilitated quotes with great contractors and got them started on the work; she also connected us with a mover and provided guidance on preparing a whole household move to three locations. Cari was very familiar with our market and suggested a selling price that elicited multiple offers. The staging of our house was very effective and helped to result in the best offer coming from a visitor during the open house (well over our asking price). Cari took a hands-on approach to all aspects of the sale: preparation of the house for sale (the move out, the sale and other disposition of items that we did not move to our new home, even landscaping of the yard) advertising, negotiation with the buyers, and preparation of the settlement documents. In a hot market you might think your agent does not matter. That assumption is totally wrong. Cari Jordan proves that a great agent – and she is a great agent – makes a great deal of difference in the sales process, from pricing to staging to closing and all the decision points in between. We have sold several houses, Cari is by far the most responsive and--if this matters to you--the warmest and most caring agent we have ever worked with.

Cari let nothing slip through the cracks; when we complicated things by asking to rent back our house for three weeks, the agreement and timing was done in hours; when a couple of personal issues came up that may have complicated the sale, no worries, she only asked 'what can I do to help.'

As to the nitty gritty of selling, her recommendations on timing, staging and pricing were spot on. We had our final offer within a day of the initial bid and at the price we hoped to get.
