Carin Van Acker

Carin started her professional career as a teacher in the Netherlands. Her 3 children were born there. When her husband, who was working for a globally operating company, got transferred to Brazil for work, the Van Acker family packed up and moved.
In Brazil, Carin was involved in charity work for different institutions. She has managed remodels of all houses she lived in on three continents, in the Netherlands, Brazil and the US. Doing this she gained a lot of experience in construction and remodeling, large and small.
Carin has been an investor in both commercial real and residential estate for many years. Her residential properties are either buy- and-hold or are sold after renovation. Taking care of the property management of her own residential properties enhanced her skills in keeping an eye for the need for updates and the associated cost.
Carin’s strong interest in understanding home buyers’ or sellers’ needs and wishes, her out-of-the-box thinking, her hard work far beyond the usual, and focus on the best possible transaction for her clients combined her drive and have made her a successful REALTOR®.
Besides English, Carin is fluent in Dutch, Portuguese and German. She will provide as much support as she can to those who move to the U.S. from other countries.
Carin understands cultural differences because she has lived in three different countries on three different continents. After work Carin enjoys family time, food, dogs, fitness, golf and traveling.
