Carissa Thom

I have spent over 6+ years in the real estate industry starting out as a marketer for a Title company, where I began to understand the ins and outs of the escrow process. It was during that time I bought my first house. That decision set me on a trajectory of passion for the idea of all things "home". I made the move to join a real estate team as the Director of Operations and assistant to the team leader. In my time on the team I worked over 100 transactions gaining invaluable knowledge and expertise about the entire process of both buying and selling homes in the Albuquerque and Greater Area, and have since then joined the top 1% Real Estate Team The Shaffer Group to better continue to serve my clients.

Though born in California, I have lived in Albuquerque for over 20 years with the small exception of a dreamy year abroad in Scotland as a university student. When I am not working on my business I enjoy pursuing my passion of interior design.

I pride myself in having a high work ethic and place significant value on integrity. My goal is to guide you as my client well, by being an encouraging coach from the preparation to the closing of your home.
