Carl Baughn

After graduating from Georgia Tech and a tour in the military as a special forces officer, Carl started his career in the point- of-purchase display industry in Winston Salem NC. He was later the founder of CB Displays Inc, a national supplier of displays, working with top fortune five hundred companies. In 1995 Carl sold the company and moved to Debordieu Colony. Carl and his partner founded Westmorland Group, a builder of luxury homes in Pawleys Island Plantation, Debordieu and The Reserve communities. During that time he obtained his real estate license to market his own properties and new customers. As a licensed home builder he understands the building, marketing and selling of luxury properties. Carl added commercial property to his expertise when he purchased and developed the Fogel building in Georgetown. His wife Robin, still owns Muddy Bay Outfitters in the mall. Carl remains the property manager of Prince George Court COA and hopes to expand the property management side of the
business with Steel Realty. Carl’s extensive marketing, construction and selling history, gives him a unique background in purchasing and sells of luxury properties.
