Carla Sundblad

Oak Realty welcomed Carla to their sales team in April of 2007. Carla has been a resident of the Annandale area since 1987, having lived in parts of California and North Dakota before settling in the French Lake countryside. Carla received a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Gustavus Adolphus College and worked for many years as a social worker for Wright County Health and Human Services, in addition to several other healthcare-related positions. She and her husband, a lifelong resident of the area, raised their two sons, Jake and Philip, here. Carla's commitment to our local Heart of the Lakes area and to the buyers and sellers she works with make her a valuable part of the Oak Realty team and our local community. Familiar with the greater Annandale area and its people, she is excited to have the opportunity to introduce new individuals, couples, and families to the area and all it has to offer. There is nothing more satisfying to her than to present a new homeowner the keys to their new home, welcoming new residents to the area. With so many lake homes, cottages, cabins, and properties, Carla has a passion to see people come to know and love the Heart of the Lakes area as much as she has. Carla’s knowledge and excitement for lake properties has grown since her recent purchase of her own lake home on Lake Sylvia! Evening pontoon rides around the lake have quickly become a favorite pastime. Admiring homes and cabins and keeping up with the real estate market from the lake gives her a new perspective and knowledge of the properties. She loves to share her lake home experiences with other enthusiastic lake home buyers. Carla has excellent communication skills and a focused work ethic: qualities that have allowed her to excel in her position at Oak Realty. Carla proudly calls herself a retired Hockey Mom, who in her spare time enjoys camping with her friends and family, and being active in her community. She also sits on the Buffalo Hospital Foundation Board. She enjoys working on various crafts including knitting and sewing.
