Carlanna has lived in Colorado since 2017, though she visited many times in her youth, she knew that it would one day be home as she was captivated by the curious people and the natural beauty. She has lived in many states over the years, including New York, Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia. She has a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a Minor in Chinese from Georgia Tech. She also completed an MBA and MS Finance and Risk Management from University of Colorado – Denver.
She has nearly 20 years of experience leading deals and managing teams in corporate sales and commercial excellence within the energy industry. She was drawn to the industry because access to electricity means opportunities to build wealth. Similarly, she was drawn to real estate for opportunities to build wealth for herself and others. She is a residential real estate investor and property manager of her own portfolio, thus an experienced homeowner.

Her personal life is rich with a supportive and loving family of four. Much of her extended family lives in Colorado, including her parents and adult dependent sister. Her sister has significant intellectual and physical disabilities and requires 24/7 support. Through her sister, she has seen the vast need for housing solutions for people with IDD and their families. She has a passion for working with families in the IDD community and elderly who may need unique and specific housing solutions.
