Carmen was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York and Maria's hometown is Hamburg, New York. Carmen and Maria both graduated from State University of New York at Brockport, New York. Carmen has his Master of Science Degree and Maria has a Bachelor of Arts Degree. They were married in 1973 and have 6 children and 7 grandchildren. Carmen and Maria became involved in Real Estate in 1981 with listing and selling Real Estate and investing in rental properties.

In 1986 the Laurendi's created their own real estate company - American Dream Realty - which rapidly grew to 3 offices. Carmen has served as President of the Niagara Falls Board of Realtors, held several positions with the Greater Buffalo Board of Realtors and managed the Niagara Falls Office for Stovroff Realty. Today, both Carmen and Maria concentrate on listing and selling properties and providing the services and results that clients and customers are looking for.
