Having garnered over $200,000,000 in sales throughout her illustrious career, Carol Berg has proven to be a top-producing real estate agent time and time again (even ranking among the Orange County agents who scored the highest in overall satisfaction in a survey by Orange Coast magazine).
After graduating from Boston University and teaching high school for three years, Carol attended the New York School of Interior Design and ran a successful freelance design business for over a decade. Realizing she had a passion for real estate, Carol then obtained her broker’s license and has since worked helping people buy and sell homes for over 20 years. She has seen every kind of market there is, which has made her especially astute at adapting to change and understanding the nuances of each specific market type. And having lived in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York, and Atlanta before relocating to Newport Beach many years ago, Carol still remembers the challenges of moving, whether long distance or local giving her an extreme advantage in ensuring a smooth moving process for her clients.
Carol’s favorite part about what she does is the satisfaction she receives from finding the perfect home for her buyers or getting top dollar for her sellers. Her words of advice for buyers be certain that a home fits the criteria for yourself and your family and understand the amenities of the neighborhood. For sellers, she suggests having a game plan for what your next steps will be and being comfortable with your choice of agent.
In her free time, Carol loves spending time with her grandson, traveling the world, playing bridge, and watching golf. She is also extremely involved in the community; she is a longtime active member of Big Canyon Country Club, has served on a variety of committees, and was a chairman of the Women’s Golf Association. Hoag Hospital, Festival of the Arts, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, MD Anderson Hospital, and Autism Speaks are just a sampling of the other events and organizations Carol has supported over the years.
