Carol Schaefer

I have worked in the real estate field since 2001, starting first as a real estate rental agent here on Mount Desert Island before transitioning over to sales. In August 2011 I began my current job at The Davis Agency in Southwest Harbor. Here I have found my niche in real estate sales, and love working with buyers and sellers alike.

A native of Maine, I was educated at Colby College and the University of Maine, where I earned my elementary education degree long ago. I am the mother of three grown children, the grandmother of two, and the spouse (almost) of one. I also have a yellow lab, Tripp.

My training as a teacher comes in handy when dealing with real estate transactions-- especially with the negotiating process, as I strive for a win-win situation. I live and work in Southwest Harbor, and especially enjoy welcoming new home-owners to our beautiful part of the world.
