About Carol

Carol Spences was born and grew up in London, England. She worked in finance for over fifteen years. She began her career with Salomon Brothers in London where she worked on the trading floor for five years. She then moved to New York City in 1986 and worked the next ten years as a capital markets broker for Tullett-Liberty Inc.

She enjoyed a long and successful career brokering money market instruments, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives. The last five years at Tullett and Tokyo, she managed the medium-term interest rate swap desk with a team of fifteen brokers and support staff.

All the experience she gained on the trading floor and collaborating with her team, contributes immensely to her ability to guide homeowners through the financial and emotional process of buying and selling their homes while at the same time utilizing her negotiating skills to benefit her clients.
Since she began her career in real estate, she wanted to provide her clients with any information and guidance necessary so that they can feel good about whatever real estate decision that they make and that transactions run smoothly. So many people feel that they were previously mislead or over promised by a realtor and therefore in the end the process is not enjoyable, and people walk away from a transaction feeling let down.

She promises her clients total privacy and discretion for life.

She promises to do everything possible to protect your best interests and needs.

She promises to explain in detail every step of the real estate transaction right down to what her own expectations are of her clients for the process to go smoothly.

This includes (If selling) educating you in the art of 'Setting the Stage' to sell your home. This will result in achieving the best price possible in the desired period.

She also believes that networking with other Realtors®, arranging tours to show the home, creating appealing brochures for prospective purchasers and extensive advertising on the internet and in Home Buying literature are all essential elements to market your home properly.

She is the author of a real estate book that was published in 2005 'Get the best deal when selling your home.

She has completed a three-part relocation course.

She has earned her e-Pro designation, which is a certification for Internet and technology professionals.

She has earned my ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation and am therefore qualified to represent clients solely as a buyer's agent.

She has also earned her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation which less than 5% of realtors in the country hold.

With over thirty million dollars of business in the last two years she is proving to be one of the most successful real estate agents in the North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley area.
