About Caroline

Caroline Wheaton Dinsmore is the founder of The Dinsmore Group. Caroline and her team consistently rank as one of the leading realtors on the San Francisco Peninsula each year since 2012 per RealTrends.

Most recently, Caroline was honored to have been recognized as one of the Top 25 Realtors in the Bay Area per The San Francisco Business Times based on 2021 sales volume, as well as The Leading 100 Realtors per Luxe SF which encompasses all agents from the Carmel Valley through the Wine Country.

With a combined 30+ years of experience, The Dinsmore Group has sold hundreds of homes. Her team is enthusiastic about dedicating our extensive expertise and unparalleled customer service to each client, each transaction, and every detail.

Caroline’s roots run deep in California. A fifth generation California native, Caroline was born and raised in Burlingame. She is a proud, direct descendant of one of the first California pioneers and one of the founding fathers of American baseball, William Rufus Wheaton.

After earning her BA degree with honors in History at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Caroline moved to Europe and taught English in Spain for several years. Upon returning Stateside, she entered the Silicon Valley tech industry for 10 years, working initially at Oracle and later at Webex during the dot-com boom and bust.

This experience gave her a solid foundation to hone her business acumen and develop the necessary skills which have helped her build a thriving real estate team in the competitive Silicon Valley real estate market. Caroline also very successfully navigated the muddied waters of the 2008-2012 Financial Crisis and learned valuable lessons in real estate that undoubtedly helps her to serve her clients well in the complex Silicon Valley real estate market.
