What can I say about Miss Barnes? Let me take it back to 2019. I started discussions with Carolyn a few years ago and really just getting my feet wet learning about the process of becoming a home owner. She instructed me about everything that I needed to do in order to be able to afford the kind of home in the kind of area I was looking. It became obvious that I was NOT ready. Fast forward to now, I am almost certain that Carolyn was not expecting a call from me almost 3 years later ha ha ha ha. I came to her ready with a pre-approval to let her know I meant business this time. From there, she went to work! Constant updates of available homes in safe areas, frequent communication during considerate time frames, schedules for viewing of the places that my wife and I wanted to see, you name it! Once we found the home that was meant for us, she gave us some advice about how competitive we needed to be with our offer and I cannot express how right she was. She negotiated a fantastic contract that we were able to benefit from and held us down all the way up to closing. We couldn't have chose a better Realtor! Thank you Miss Barnes!!!

I knew what I needed in a home, from size of the home, price and location, and I expressed my needs to Carolyn, I had been told by countless others what to expect during the process, from having to view multiple homes and place offers only to have someone out bid me. I was warned not to get to excited about the first home I see. Well Carolyn Barnes, proved everyone wrong, it was one and done. I just sold my rental property in Country Club Hills. My listing agent, Carolyn Barnes did an outstanding market assessment and listed my property at a fair price. We had an acceptable offer on the first weekend of the listing. While the first offer did not materialize due to buyer employment issues, the second offer was accepted two days after opening the listing up. We closed on the second offer in about 4 weeks. I would not hesitate to use Carolyn and Real People Realty again in the future. Quality Service at a fair price!**

Just purchased a south shore townhouse. I became aware of Carolyn thru my son who worked with her when he purchased his three flat a year ago. In a nutshell, she is an experienced agent and more than anything else made me feel comfortable guiding me thru the entire process which, (because of the lender, underwriters and pension fund manager) was not without a snag or two. Carolyn nevertheless kept everything on course making sure that the I's were all dotted and the T's were all crossed and got the deal done. Kept me informed and always responded to calls and text messages quickly. I would, with no reservation, recommend her to anyone looking for the services of a good real estate agent. Bravo!
