It is these attributes -- and so much more -- that have made Carrie McAlister one of the East Bay’s premier real estate agents.

As a Realtor with The Grubb Company, Carrie has been assisting her clients with their home and investment needs for nearly 18 years. Her sales experience totals well over $350,000,000 and is climbing steadily. Having lived in Oakland, Berkeley and Piedmont, Carrie has extensive information about East Bay neighborhoods, schools, transit, shops and restaurants and enjoys supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs. In addition to her work in residential real estate, Carrie has built and renovated properties, and managed an LLC with numerous local and national real estate investments, including apartments and commercial buildings. Carrie’s breadth and depth of experience in the real estate industry helps to inform and benefit her clients in each and every transaction.

Prior to her work in the real estate industry, Carrie spent nearly a decade providing strategic consulting services to business and government leaders in the United States and abroad, including in Los Angeles, New York, Latin America and the Middle East. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Berkeley Symphony. She previously served on boards for Habitat for Humanity, the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir, and managed an international non-profit organization focused on landmine removal and rural development.

In her free-time, Carrie loves skiing with her children, reducing the number of Mulligans in her golf game, and reconnecting with her tennis racket and mountain bike. She holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
