Carroll is a Wadesboro native, born and raised in the local area. Growing up, she was always involved with extra-curricular activities through school and church. She graduated from Wadesboro High School and later from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina with a degree in Home Economics and Secondary Education. She taught Jr. High School in Northern and Southern California for 14 years, receiving numerous awards from State and Local governmental agencies including Governor Jerry Brown for curriculum development that improved school attendance in a particularly trouble segment of the school population. In 1980 she returned to Anson County for family and business matters, entering Real Estate in 1986. In 1995 with her husband, Lin Anderson, opened our present office, Anderson Real Estate, LLC., on Morgan Street in Wadesboro. We have enjoyed a Broad Acceptance in Residential, Land, Commercial and Rental Real Estate matters. One of our halmarks that has helped our successes is manning our office 7 days a week, closing one time a year at Christmas and taking an office day off on Thanksgiving. Almost every other day of the year, Carroll is available in the office or by phone phone for over 13 hours a day or 91 hours a week.
Carrolls gives back to our community by an active support of our schools and the world by a 19 year membership in the Wadesboro ROTARY Club, serving as ROTARY President and member of the Board of Directors. Also serving 10 years on the Anson County Health Department Board of Directors as well as the Board of Directors of Central Carolina Bank.
