After knowing Phyllis for many years, we knew she would be the realtor to use when we sold our house. During this process, we were amazed at the knowledge Phyllis has in working through the many issues and details in the sale of a house. She is amazing!

Whenever we needed help, Phyllis and Casey were available to guide us through the process of getting our house ready to sell. It was important to us that either Phyllis or Casey responded quickly to our email and/or calls.

We appreciated all the little extra details they addressed such as, installing reflectors on our dock, resolving technical issues with our dock, and even coming to our house to provide answers to questions. Another very important plus is that Phyllis was able to refer us to professionals who could make the necessary repairs on the house.

Phyllis and Casey carefully arranged for many showings informing us in advance of each appointment. After each showing, we appreciated reading the positive and negative comments from potential buyers. After a Realtor Open House, the attendees provided some very good suggestions and compliments.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience while going through the difficult process of selling our dream house.

Above and Beyond!! I am honestly not someone who posts on social media, BUT....... I simply had to sit down and write a review for Phyllis Johnson of Re/Max. My husband and I were looking to buy lakefront property for about a year, and since we live 4 hours from the lake, it was not an easy task. During that time we had the opportunity to work with two or three other real estate agents. To be honest, we almost gave up on our dream because living 4 hours away made everything seem so confusing and convoluted. Other real estate agents were not listening to what we wanted and were more focused on the quick sale in the competitive market. We did not know where to start with permits and finding builders. We certainly did not want to buy a property, just to find out we could not have a dock or the house we wanted because of permit approval. It just seemed to hard to manage from so far away. Then we met Phyllis! Phyllis was NOT like that at all! Phyllis Johnson was a true Godsend. She is honest, ethical, professional, knowledgeable, patient, extremely accessible, has tons of connections, is funny, kind and also extremely pleasant to work with. Working with Phyllis, in the short span of 8 months, we managed to buy a lot; rescind that contract because the contingency clause for the septic system we wanted was not met; purchased a much more beautiful property; got a permit for a 6 bedroom septic system; got a dock permit; got a dredging permit; got a permit for Rip Rap; and had the two lots we purchased be combined into one large lot. Oh, and found a builder! We did all of that quickly and without confusion. If you know anything about SML and the permit process, you know that is nothing short of miraculous! Phyllis was happy to answer the questions we had about moving forward with our project, even a good 6 plus weeks after our closing! It was truly our pleasure to work with Phyllis. Not only did we find an excellent real-estate agent, but we made a friend as well. My husband and I are so excited about our future at SML. Phyllis truly helped make our dreams come true. We did not have the pleasure of working with Casey for this purchase, but I am sure the apple did not fall far from the tree at all!!

These two are a fantastic team in terms of personality, know-how and determination which my fiance and I greatly appreciated during our home-buying process in the fall of 2019. Despite all the speed bumps that came along they were knowledgeable on what could or couldn't be done to fix those issues (specifically concerning some complications we ran into with how our now property and home is deeded, etc) and were with us every step of the way, even when we had to switch mortgage companies (again, one of the many complications).

The long and short for Casey and Phyllis is that these two have the brains and the stones to make sure they can help you navigate every nook and cranny of your home-buying experience. Not that I want to do it all again anytime soon but I hope when that time comes again that I need a great, personable realtor I know who I'm calling on.
