Cate was interning in interior design when she followed her soon to be husband to the island of Saipan (near Guam). They stayed for 10 years. While there she worked as human resource director for two large hotels. Working with people from multicultural backgrounds, who were often far from home, Cate learned how to support and encourage them, and how to help them achieve their goals through education and training. When Cate and Ben decided to return stateside to raise their growing family, Asheville was first on the list. With the beautiful mountains, rich culture, and welcoming community, they were home. 15 years later, no regrets. Moving here gave Cate the opportunity to continue her interior design career, and to get involved in renovation and construction. Real estate is a natural progression for her. She brings a toolkit of knowledge about homes, the resources in our area, and focused client support.
