Catherine E. Witherwax

Catherine is recognized throughout the city’s real estate community as a source of knowledge on all things Brooklyn. Her colleagues respect her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to always do the right thing. She has forged a reputation among her clients and colleagues as an honest, hardworking, and influential broker.

Since 2001, she has helped hundreds of clients market and sell their properties—from stately townhouses to pre-war co-ops as well as serving as the Director of Sales at many new development condominiums. For seven years prior to Brown Harris Stevens, Catherine was the manager of Brooklyn offices for two prominent residential real estate firms, sharing her experience while guiding and coaching her agents as they built their businesses and marketed their properties. As one of the most experienced New York City real estate sales professionals, broker Catherine Witherwax has unparalleled global market exposure and marketing tools to draw from when representing either buyers or sellers. She currently serves as the co-chair of REBNY’s Brooklyn Committee.

A lifelong Brooklynite, she received her B.A. in Economics, with a minor in Italian Studies from Trinity College, and is a graduate of The Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope. Whether visiting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, shopping at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket, or enjoying the burgeoning food scene at local restaurants, she takes full advantage of all that Brooklyn offers.
