Cathy holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied Economics. She resides in Lincoln Park with her husband and three sons. When she is not working, Cathy loves to travel, read books, and practice yoga. She is an active member of St. Teresa of Avila Church, and has volunteered at the Near North Montessori School, Walter Payton College Prep High School, and the Parkinson’s Disease Research Society.
