About Catherine
For nearly four decades, Catherine Kut has been a respected leader in New Jersey real estate and an active force in her community. Licensed since 1986 and earning her Broker’s license in 2014, Catherine has built a career distinguished by both professional achievement and dedicated service.She began her real estate journey with Schlott/Coldwell Banker in 1987, later spending two decades with Weichert Realtors, where she consistently earned top sales awards, including membership in the President’s Club and Executive Club. Since 2013, Catherine has served as Manager with Realty Executives Exceptional Realtors, where she continues to guide clients, mentor agents, and oversee operations with the same passion that has defined her career. In addition to managing sales teams, she has also overseen 25 new home communities as a project manager, bringing a wealth of experience in both new construction and residential resales.
Catherine’s leadership extends well beyond her brokerage. She has been deeply involved with professional associations at the county, state, and national levels. A long-standing member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, she served as President in 1995 and has held numerous leadership positions over the years, including chairing education, broker-manager, nominating, and golf committees. Her service also includes committee roles with the New Jersey Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, where she contributed to education, strategic planning, and industry development initiatives. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she has twice been honored as Realtor of the Year—first in 1996 and again in 2024.
Catherine’s career achievements are matched by her deep commitment to her community. She has held leadership roles with many local organizations, including serving as President of Sussex County Big Brothers Big Sisters, President of the United Way of Sussex County, Trustee and Treasurer of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Southern Chamber Council. She has chaired numerous community events, including the United Way Chili Open Golf Outing, Sussex County Day, and the German Christmas Market of New Jersey, and has been a driving force in countless charitable efforts such as food drives, coat drives, youth sports fundraisers, and local non-profit initiatives.
Her service has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Boy Scouts of America Tribute to Women Award, the Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award, the Mosaic Award from Project Self Sufficiency, and the Karen Ann Quinlan Ambassador Award. She is also a multi-year recipient of the NJ Herald Readers’ Choice Gold Award and has been recognized by Realty Executives with membership in the prestigious 100% Club for a decade straight.
Throughout her career, Catherine has consistently demonstrated excellence in real estate sales, earning the NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence Sales Award at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels across three decades. Her track record includes multi-million-dollar production years, with top achievements reaching over $15 million in annual sales.
A resident of Sussex County since 1974, Catherine has been deeply rooted in the community she serves. She was married for 49 years and is a proud mother of three sons and grandmother to six grandchildren. Even after the loss of her husband in 2023, she continues to pour her energy into her profession, her volunteer commitments, and her family.
