Cathy Deutsch

Cathy is a third-generation top-producing real estate broker, following in her mother's and grandmother's footsteps. She provides highly personalized service, helping clients define and achieve their real estate objectives. She is results-driven, creative, and a relentless advocate for her clients. Cathy offers a discerning eye for design and staging.

Cathy is a member of @properties' East Lincoln Park and Glencoe offices. After serving as a Vice President for Residential Sales with one of the nation's top real estate teams specializing in Chicago's near north side, Cathy joined forces with her mother Julie Deutsch in 2018. Deutsch Residential now proudly serves clients from as far north as Lake Bluff to as far south as Hyde Park.

Prior to launching her career in real estate, Cathy was a fundraising executive for the University of Chicago, where she secured transformational philanthropic investments in science and medicine. Cathy has found many parallels between fundraising and marketing luxury homes. Both require a keen understanding of the donor/client's financial and personal goals, extraordinary communication, and astute analytical skills.

Cathy graduated from the University of Vermont. She studied in Avignon, France, and is fluent in French (and enjoys French wine!). She grew up in Highland Park and is a long-time resident of Chicago's Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods. Her passions include traveling, hiking, and collecting art.
