My intense passion for Real Estate comes from my upbringing, which is based on values that my parents instilled in me. My father taught me to always love what I was doing. Because of this, I have never chosen a career lightly. I have always put a lot of thought into what I wanted to pursue as I knew I would be a reflection of that company and that I would put all of my passion into whomever I was serving.
With that being said, helping a buyer through the process of buying a home and helping a seller get maximum proceeds out of their home is something that is deep within my heart. While empathizing with clients, I am at the same time a true professional who will guide them with logic, knowledge, and experience through the process of buying or selling a home.
Prior to real estate, I was an educator. I received my BS in Education in English and my Master’s in Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I taught high school English for 16 years and then taught for Lindenwood’s Accelerated Program for Working Adults for 6 years. After the College Board changed its qualifications and after my husband and I relocated to the St. Louis area, I dug deep within myself to determine what my next career choice would be. I researched and asked other professionals for a 6-month period before knowing for sure what I needed to pursue. Today, I am passionate about Real Estate and am happy that I can once again follow my dad’s advice of loving what I am doing.
I am happily married and have a grown son, both of whom are in the IT field. They make every moment of my life more special, and they inspire me on a daily basis. I wouldn’t be who or where I am today without my parents, my husband, and my son.
