Cathy Pugh

Cathy thoroughly enjoys her career in real estate, whether it involves helping families sell their beloved home or finding the perfect home for them. She finds the process of guiding her clients through each step of the transaction to be incredibly fulfilling.

After a successful 30-year career teaching elementary students in several Texas school districts, Cathy transitioned to real estate in 2000. She has found that the energy and excitement of working with families in real estate is just as engaging as teaching young children. Cathy sees herself as still teaching, now with her clients as her students, explaining, teaching, and guiding them through every aspect of a real estate transaction.

One of Cathy's specialties is helping sellers prepare their homes for the market. She is an Accredited Staging Professional and takes great pride in guiding sellers through the process of staging their homes. Her goal is to ensure that sellers put their best foot forward when listing their home.
As a Texas REALTOR®, Cathy has served as both President and Vice-President of the Huntsville Board of REALTORS®. She is proud to work alongside a great community of REALTORS® in Huntsville and the surrounding area, as part of Emblem Properties. At Emblem, the team's primary goal is to provide the best possible customer service to their clients, from the first meeting through closing and beyond.

Huntsville has been home to Cathy's family since 1981, and she and her husband raised their daughter and son there. Both of her children graduated from Huntsville High School, and Cathy is now blessed with two grandchildren who bring joy to her life.
