After a successful and rewarding career in TV news and web-based journalism, this Georgetown graduate changed gears to focus on real estate, a longtime passion, joining Capital Area Homes in October 2012.
Her skill set meshes seamlessly: “Both journalism and real estate require a keen attention to detail, people skills and are deadline-driven,” she notes.
Her personal motto -- "Ever Forward" -- extends easily to buyers and sellers. "You have to admire someone who says ‘Yes, I'm willing to bite the bullet, empty my basement and move on,’ or ‘Yup, I'll move out of my comfort zone and into a new community.’"
Celeste feels focused buyers and sellers are crucial to successful transactions, as are her own, personally vetted lenders and title companies. “The ones I recommend are solid gold. Transaction after transaction, they never let me down.” She guides clients through the process required to succeed: determining priorities and timelines, addressing every concern, and negotiating hard, via the wealth of resources, experience and technology afforded by the Capital Area Group’s team approach.
“Buying and selling real estate is serious business,” Celeste says. “We are talking about your largest investment, after all. But that is not to say we will not have an awfully good time on our journey together!"
“I work with every kind of client: buyers, sellers, those looking at new construction, luxury homes, townhomes, condominiums, 55+ communities, Boomers, Seniors. I guess my heart is most with First Time Buyers. I still remember what that was like for me — such a milestone — and I’d like to be a part of that for so many people in this area."
“Bottom line: I provide overwhelmed buyers and sellers exactly what they need to move on to their next home, their next chapter in life. I provide superb customer service, and I have your back, every step of the way!"
