Since Chad Gilbert acquired RE/MAX Suburban in August 2015, the company continues to grow tremendously. From 2015 to 2016, the company grew by $250 million, and it was recognized as the No. 1 RE/MAX in Illinois and the No. 14 largest RE/MAX by volume in the country. Gilbert also recently acquired Precision Title Company. “This expanded service increases our ability to oversee the closing process from start to finish and ensure customers and our agents receive the highest quality of service,” says Gilbert, president and owner of RE/MAX Suburban and Precision Title Company. In 2016, they added a Buffalo Grove RE/MAX office and continued to recruit experienced agents, increasing the number of brokers to 230.
After graduating from Loyola University Chicago, Gilbert held many operational and executive sales positions, but he always knew he wanted to achieve his childhood dream of working in real estate. “I have always loved real estate and it was a great opportunity to leverage my executive leadership skills in sales, marketing and business development to run a large brokerage,” he says.
In addition to being one of the top brokerages, RE/MAX Suburban and its agents were able to donate more than $41,000 to Children’s Miracle Network in 2016, the most of any RE/MAX company in northern Illinois. Chad and Sarah were honored for their efforts in 2016 with RE/MAX’s “Above the Crowd!” award, which recognizes individuals for their commitment to the RE/MAX brand, the RE/MAX network, and their community.
