Chantel has been a realtor since 2004 and opened Markel Realty Group in 2011. Prior to that she owned a bookkeeping/secretarial business since 1991. She has a solid understanding of what it takes to run a business. Staying educated and current is her top priority. She especially loves learning through listening to podcasts and reading.

She is a strong advocate of Child Welfare. She was a foster mom, fostering over 75 children, four of whom she has adopted. In her spare time, she loves to hike, travel, ride her bike, and spend time with her family. She loves trying new things and living each day to the fullest.
