Charlene was born and raised in San Jose, CA. She moved WAY OUT to Hollister in 1987. At that time, it was ONLY for the affordable new house. She fell in love with the area and found that it was a wonderful place to raise a family and learned the paths to get to so many other desirable areas...Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz and back to San Jose. She is very proud to call Hollister her Hometown.
She started her Real Estate career in 1980 as an Escrow Officer and obtained her Real Estate License in 1981. In 1992, a friend asked her to be his partner and apply for a New Homes Sales position in Hollister with a company called Kaufman and Broad, now KB Homes. First thought was, “Oh no, what do I wear!” and second was, “I have no clue about new home sales!”. She got the job! She proceeded to wear out a newly purchased business suit and the portfolio that held her half page Resume.
In 1996, Charlene became a Community Sales Manager with Anderson Homes covering Hollister, Los Banos and Manteca areas. She had the privilege of being with this wonderful home builder through 2010. During her Sales career she was the Sales Manager for many Communities and sold over 1500 homes. Charlene was able to meet a lot of wonderful families and help them into their New Homes.
In December of 2010, she joined Doug Flora as he opened their Brokerage. In June of 2013, she became the Owner of Flora Real Estate Group. She has been proud to carry on the Business in the Flora name surrounded by the best Agents in town.

She enjoys guiding and helping Sellers and Buyers in the areas of Santa Clara County, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Hollister, Merced County, Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.
