After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, Charles Kasko built a 36-year career in the home building and construction industry, gaining extensive experience in single- and multi-family residential construction, remodeling, and light commercial projects. His background spans modular and conventional construction, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of real estate development from the ground up.
Charlie has been deeply engaged in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at the local, state, and national levels—serving as President of the Pennsylvania Builders Association and Area 3 Chairman for NAHB. He also co-founded the Luzerne County Housing Partnership, reflecting his long-standing commitment to addressing housing needs in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Today, Charlie serves as Chairman of The Institute, where he leads regional research and collaboration across critical issues including housing, education, and economic growth. In addition, as Housing Task Force Chairman, he helps shape strategies to strengthen the region’s communities and opportunities.
Building on his construction, policy, and development expertise, Charlie has become a highly successful Associate Broker and real estate professional specializing in both commercial and residential real estate. He represents buyers and sellers in multi-million-dollar transactions throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, with expertise in investment properties, mixed-use portfolios, multifamily assets, and single-family residential properties. Charlie combines financial acumen, negotiation skill, valuation expertise, and deep market knowledge to deliver results-driven guidance for his clients.
As Executive Director of the NEPA Scholarship Competition Association, Charlie also champions education and leadership development, overseeing programs that award scholarships and provide transformative opportunities for young women across Pennsylvania.
