About Charles

Charles loves being a REALTOR®! He loves helping people achieve their home ownership dreams! He loves the individual challenges of each unique purchase or sale! Success takes determination and hard work. Every day he gives his full effort because he knows everything, he does is impacting a major area of someone’s life.

It seems that Charles has been interested in real estate his whole life. He remembers going on house hunting trips with his parents when he was a teenager trying to find just the right house for our family in a new city. Later, he bought and fixed up his own a “starter house” and then moved up to the family home we live in today. Charles remembers the day it finally clicked for him. He received a thank you card and gift card in the mail from the REALTOR® who helped his parents and brothers with four transactions in a year. He thought, with some formal training, he could do this too! That was the start!

Since 1993, Charles has worked for the Cleveland Fire Department, progressing from Fire Fighter to Lieutenant to Captain to temporary Battalion Chief. He loves his job as a Fireman, too! The flexible work schedule (24 hours on / 48 hours off) allows him ample time to pursue his chosen second career as a Realtor. He is not a “part-time” agent, but a “full-time” agent with “as needed” hours. The flexibility has been a major asset in his real estate success.

In 2005, Charles officially got his REALTOR® license. At first, some people were hesitant to work with him, skeptical how he could be a REALTOR® and fireman at the same time. He uses his time wisely, enabling him to fulfill his roles as father, husband, fireman, and REALTOR®. He has learned to manage his time to achieve goals in all areas of his life. As Ben Franklin observed, “If you want to get something done, give it to a busy person.”

As Charles began to increase his clients over the years, he has gradually reached a point where he is collaborating with more people a year than most full-time agents in our area. His ability to keep in constant contact with his clients ensures they are supported through the entire process. They trust his ability to help them and ultimately achieve their goals.

Above all else, his priority is helping people. As a fireman, Charles helps his community when there is an emergency. As a REALTOR®, he gets to help people choose a home where so many memories are made. Being able to do both is so rewarding because he knows all his time is being put toward a greater purpose and changing people’s lives. With all that he does in a day, he still makes time for his family, go to his kids’ sporting events, and coach. He’s grateful to be living life to the fullest, embracing all of his passions.

There is no greater moment than seeing the excitement on someone’s face when Charles tells them they got the house of their dreams. That home will hold so many memories and become a special place for their family. When he collaborates with you, he will give honest and direct feedback to help you make the best decision to achieve your goals, so that you can experience that joyous feeling too.
