Charley Clay developed a deep affection for Austin, Texas, while studying in Mexico during the 1970s. Whenever he had breaks from school, Austin became his preferred destination in the United States.

After completing his studies in Mexico, Charley joined Austin's construction and remodeling industry, which aligned better with his creative spirit and desire for freedom compared to his previous plan of working as a bureaucrat in a state agency.
During his high school and college years, Charley worked in construction during the summers. These experiences equipped him with the ability to assess properties based on their building quality and operational costs.
Charley cherishes the distinctiveness of each real estate transaction and values the wealth of industry knowledge he has acquired over the past three decades. Management of multi-family complexes, office buildings, and investor portfolios. And years of experience in cell tower site acquisition. Continuous education has been instrumental in his achievements.
He continues to expand his knowledge through classes, certifications, and designations. Additionally, he enrolled in the Bicultural Bilingual Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he obtained a graduate certification in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Charley is an esteemed member of the Austin Board of Realtors. As a Certified International Property Specialist, he currently serves as the 2025 ABOR Global Ambassador to Brazil. He was Chair of the ABOR 2023 Global Advisory Group. His diverse client roster includes individuals from India, Brazil, Mexico, and England. And he has international referral and marketing agreements in Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Belize, Brazil, Portugal, and Spain.
Apart from his professional pursuits, Charley has a passion for international travel and leading an active lifestyle. Clients often spot him on Austin's scenic hike and bike trails, engaging in activities such as tennis, golf, and attending live music events at community venues.
