Highly recommend! Buying a home, especially your first, can be extremely stressful! To say we had a million questions would be an understatement. Chelsea was super responsive, explained things in a way I could understand, and made us feel comfortable. She was diligent in ensuring we didn't jump into something that wasn't a right fit, even though I was so eager to buy. When it came to negotiations, she really fought for us! We bought in a sellers market, and Chelsea was still able to get us a great deal and added concessions. We feel like we found our forever home, but if I ever did sell/buy I would 100% work with Chelsea again.

Chelsea helped my wife and I buy a home during the summer of 2021. Chelsea had previously been the agent to help our best friend a home a couple of years prior and she had nothing but glowing things to say, so we knew who we wanted to reach out to when we were ready.

From the get go, Chelsea’s energy was enthusiastic, her honesty was welcome and she was willing to TALK to us and LISTEN to us even before we knew what we wanted. She made applications a breeze, and navigated some of the trickier parts with clarity.

It was easy to get a hold of her almost any day, and when she went out of town, had put us in contact with one of her colleagues, who was also excellent to work with.

We love our home in St. Helens, it’s been the perfect starter home for us, and when the day comes we choose to sell and hopefully upgrade, we know who we will turn to!

Sometimes in life, it’s clear that you’ve been divinely guided to exactly the right person at the right time. This is the feeling I have about working with Chelsea Lewis these past 6 months, who ended up being without a doubt the perfect real estate agent for me as I navigated my first home purchase. This wasn’t an average first home purchase though, because I was also trying to find the ideal home that would work for my 93-year-old dad to move up from CA and live with me, so the house had to be accessible for him and fulfill his very particular needs and desires as well. I had worked with other agents previously over the course of my long house search the past couple years, and I can say without hesitation that I never had or could imagine having a more attentive, genuinely kind, detail-oriented, knowledgable, and hard-working agent on my side.

From our very first meeting, Chelsea went far above and beyond, spending so much time as I described in great detail what dad and I were looking and hoping for. I never felt rushed in the slightest as we perused through listings, and as I would share what I liked and what didn’t work quite as well with each listing, it was obvious Chelsea was truly listening and interested in learning more about our preferences. When we viewed houses in person, I always felt that Chelsea was very honest and straight-forward as she shared what she thought about the particular house, which was quite helpful to me, since her knowledge and experience is extensive.

When it came time to make an offer on the lovely home we ultimately ended up purchasing in Tualatin, OR, Chelsea expertly guided that process as well, and we ended up having our offer chosen over ten other offers. With this extremely competitive Portland-metro market, it’s essential to have an agent who really knows the ins and outs of the process and has great communication with the other agents, and Chelsea handled everything wonderfully.

Our purchase was more complicated than usual due to the family trust, and I cannot describe how amazing Chelsea was in dealing with any challenges that came up, as she corresponded with and made phone call after phone call to the title office, the loan office, etc. I know that ultimately it was her persistence, patience, and expertise that allowed us to navigate through that process, and ultimately enabled us to get the house we truly wanted. In every way, Chelsea has been a superior real estate agent to work with, and now I consider her a friend as well. I absolutely give her my very highest recommendation.

We can't say enough great things about Chelsea! We were lucky enough to be introduced to her when we reached out to our other realtors to start the process of looking to purchase a more rural property. It wasn't their jam, but luckily enough for us, it was Chelsea's! She was so helpful throughout the entire process. And really had her finger on the pulse of the insane market we found ourselves shopping in. Couldn't of found our dream place without her skill and knowledge. As a first-time home buyer, my opinion of real estate agents, in general, was dubious at best. What service could they possibly offer that is worth a 6% commission? After all, can't I just shop for houses online?
Basically, if not for Chelsea, buying our home would have been a full-time job in sorting legal documents, herding inspectors and other professionals, and scheduling the overwhelming number of signings/meetings/payments. Finding your home is the easy part, executing the sale is a confusing mine field, and I am honored and humbled to have worked with Chelsea.
If you're reading this Chelsea, thank you so much for walking us through this and for being a calm and rational voice every step of the way.

We were so fortunate to have found Chelsea Lewis when we decided to purchase a new home. We wanted to stay in our same neighborhood and were worried because it had become significantly more desirable since we purchased our last home nine years ago. As our Realtor, she helped us find the right house just two blocks from our current house for a great price. She was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. Her advice when writing our offer allowed us to be selected out of 9 other offers. And, in a world where having to write multiple offers is the rule, rather than the exception, we were thrilled to get our house with just one offer. Then, once we entered escrow, she worked tirelessly to help us close as quickly as possible. Chelsea is one of the hardest working agents in Portland. If it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t have closed on our house! She found a great lender for us when we were struggling to find anyone. She pushed to make things close on time and has the best communication skills. I would recommend her 10x over to anyone looking to buy in the Portland area.
