Chelsea McDonnell

Born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, Chelsea McDonnell brings an expert knowledge of the Valley to Locality Real Estate. She graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a degree in marketing. Before her foray into real estate, Chelsea spent nine years in the restaurant industry, developing valuable management and customer service skills.

Chelsea obtained her real estate license in 2011, combining her talent for interpersonal relations with her passion for the field as the Director of Agent Services for a local brokerage firm. There, Chelsea developed a strong attention to detail and an operations-based skill set through years of experience onboarding agents, performing bookkeeping duties, and overseeing the many moving parts of a brokerage’s day-to-day needs. Chelsea earned her broker’s license in June 2020, her prior experience in the market readying her to start and run her own real estate company alongside Laurie McDonnell.

Thanks to Chelsea’s years in the real estate industry and her dedication to serving others, she is equipped to help any client who is looking to buy or sell in Arizona. She understands the needs, hopes, and goals of her clients and is confident in her ability to make the real estate journey as easy and enjoyable as possible. Though her specialty is the Tempe market, Chelsea is comfortable working in any part of the Phoenix metro area.

Like Laurie, Chelsea is also a proponent of community involvement and has been an active member of her community for much of her life. She was a Board Member and active Member of Tempe Leadership, a program that educates and empowers individuals looking to participate in civic engagement opportunities. When she is not working or volunteering, she can be found hiking, spending time with “the girls” (her two adorable pit bulls), reading novels, or listening to an interesting new podcast. She has a passion for people and loves a good conversation.
