I hired Jenna Anderkovitch after interviewing several realtors. She responded quickly and thoroughly answered my questions regarding her experiences, reputation, and reviews.

She was hired in July 2025 to sell a property in Maryland.

I lived in South Carolina, and the Maryland property needed repairs; therefore, Jenna recommended two contractors. Furthermore, when the repairs were done, Jenna posted gorgeous online pictures. She even showed examples of the different possibilities for updating the house. She kept me informed of showings and their feedback.

The property was sold and closed in September 2025.

From day one, Cheryl guided me through the entire process with so much patience and care, explaining every step and making sure I felt confident with each decision. We are long-time property investors with experience in Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, and Calvert. In late 2024 we decided to sell one of our single-family rental properties in Bowie but the uncertainty in the greater real-estate market was challenging. We had performed major upgrades inside and out, and the home was in a quiet neighborhood near several parks, but it was proving difficult to find buyers willing to pay market value.

Although we had a long relationship with our realtor we decided to make a change after several months of limited showings with no offers. We interviewed several well-reviewed realtors and the range of professionalism and preparedness was rather surprising. Out of a number of real estate teams we interviewed, Cheryl Bare & the Home Pros stood out.

Cheryl and Mallory came prepared with a detailed slide deck, modern sales strategies specific to our property, local comps, and projected contract costs. Mallory detailed an online marketing strategy, benefits of new photos and video walkthroughs, and options for staging the home. Cheryl provided multiple scenarios and pricing dependent on foot traffic and time-on-market as well as recommended next steps. They both were the epitome of professionalism and competence and gave us confidence in choosing them to represent us. The team went to work immediately, pulled the listing down for re-tooling, took a completely new set of professional photos inside and out, and recommend a staging company who worked efficiently and made the house very beautiful. The new listing went live and we saw an immediate increase in showings. The team shared all viewing activity and let us know prospective buyer's remarks daily. Behind every remark, I know how much time the team had spent encouraging buyers’ agents to detail their client's experiences. This helped us understand the buyers needs and what directions and improvements/changes we should consider.

Finally, in a little over two weeks, we had an offer. Cheryl’s superb negotiation strategies shined and she listened and understood our needs as sellers. From accepting the offer, signing the contracts, settlement day, and all the stuff going on in between, the team was efficient, honest, professional, and made us feel that we were truly partners working towards one goal.

Cheryl is always fun to talk with, her positive energy goes a long way and is much needed during a stressful time. She is also extremely accurate on her predictions for home movement. Anytime she gave us her opinion on how long a home would stay on the market she nailed it. Jenna also put in a ton of effort on our behalf. We probably had her drive across Maryland twice in an attempt to find a home that fit our needs and wants. On top of that, she was very punctual and kept us updated on each home. They were both very honest, anytime they walked a home they told us up front whether they thought it was a good value and what repairs/upgrades we would have to invest in order to sell later. My husband and I were first time home buyers and truly had no idea what we were doing, but luckily we had Cheryl and Mallory to assist us during the entire process.
